Videos on Blogs - Bandwidth Switching
 

Is anyone using bandwidth detection/switching for streaming videos on a blog? Is this overkill? I'm trying to accommodate everyone so I was going to do at least 3 different video sizes/bitrates and use flowplayer's or jwplayer's bandwidth detection to display whichever would be more appropriate for the surfer.

If bandwidth switching is overkill, what resolution and bandwidth did you choose for your site?

User tuning is never overkill...

Yeah, I figured. Wasn't sure if it would be worth it on a free site though. Seems like a lot of hassle and unnecessary storage but if it makes the site more popular then I am all for it.
