You don't !

The program is pretty misleading to say the least.... couldn't they keep those "upsell" ads to type-ins and post-signup?

How about a pre-signup tour for affiliates without all the link leaks?

How would it work? You convert the leads/free signups AFTER they've signed up and you've credited the affiliate... not before the affiliate can even get credited! :1orglaugh

This program is like a gamble... I guess... get a very reasonable payout to convert free signups - so aslong as they feel like chatting with one of the three girls that's online... vs. the sexually inticing banners on the right side of the page and the footer.

Maybe it still works out well enough to make decent free signup conversions... I might still try it out

Guys,
The site is 100% Free. We give away over 11k a month to chaturbate users in addition to paying out affiliates. So yes there are ads on the site ;) Dont over look the fact its a one step sign up process, no credit card info is needed and e-mail is optional. You get paid per registration. Doesn't matter if they broadcast or not you still get paid. Its an easy sell...

maybe i'm just up to late, but maybe you could offer affiliates the opportunity to put their OWN banners on sites they send from their affiliate links.

allow them to pay a premium (omg, its not free? stfu!) to have their own ad placement.

ill be waiting for my check in the mail for the idea :winkwink:

if we charged the users then we would be like every other cam site. the free aspect among other things sets us apart.

no no, charge the affiliate for a "premium" account. sort of like buying a gallery submission pass, they could then put on their own ads

:winkwink:

If it was a perfect program ideal for every situation, EVERYONE would do it. You're missing common sense.

Aww, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings!

Cunt.

bns666 07-19-2011 03:27 AM

on another hand, chaturbate is not trying to keep their free cam girls to themselves by advertising mfc where those same cam girls could actually earn money.

whole concept ain't too bad but it's pretty much shallow as a long term business plan.

seeandsee 07-19-2011 04:13 AM

i think its some kind of win win situation if they dont need users to spend any cash. you test them, you see your EPC and then decide is it worth to send there...

The whole thing looks like a joke, it's an ad farm with about 50% fake cams.

lazycash 07-19-2011 06:13 AM

There's a dozen sites out their just like this with hundreds of amateurs, including the original version of cam4 which started in 2006. What seems weird to me is why they would spend the money to skin gfy to push webmasters to promote their site when they have almost zero activity on it other than videos and live sponsor feeds. Skin gfy in December after you've taken the money you spent here and put it towards pushing amateur cam traffic to your site in hopes of building up your amateur live broadcasters with the contest incentive.

See Cig 07-19-2011 06:56 AM

Just looked at it. The 1st thing that pop'd up was a full over console going to fling. If I wanted to send fling free traffic, I could just point my landing pages to fling.com and not get paid for them that way and save me some time.

No fucking thank you.

Si 07-19-2011 07:03 AM

The whole setup is a fucking joke.

That's effectively the same outcome thou isnt it? Instead of worrying about getting qualified traffic sources to pump clicks to the project they are willing to pay a buck a join.. should be about 1/5000 with the current setup. So a dollar for 5000 targeted hits.. plus the moneys pent on skinning GFY sounds like a good deal for them.

As a surfer I would never even look past the first cam. A quick skim shows ads and a console on landing. Ok, if I could get past that I would chuckle at all the video streams passed off as live cams and close the window.

The ONLY cam chat site that's worth it's salt is the original cam4 (albeit full of prostitots looking for tokens now and not about fun and actually getting laid anymore) and camfuze. Too bad neither has an affiliate program that can be taken seriously.

magicmike 07-19-2011 07:08 AM

Yeah doesn't look that good yet.

Yeah, both ways are going to generate traffic. However, you can already see that skinning gfy to create webmaster interest in a site that is less than 10% active with dozens of traffic leaks has already backfired on day 1. Anyone with real traffic isn't going to send to a program that only pays .50/free join, has hardly any live performers to get the surfer to signup and has tons of traffic leaks to pull the surfer away before he ever signs up. So you end up paying a 20k skin fee that ends up creating very little affiliate traffic, instead of using that to pour in surfers straight to the amateur cam broadcasting contest details page to generate interest in amateur cammers who would start filling up the site with activity.

Agent 488 07-19-2011 08:07 AM

another wegcash success story.

V_RocKs 07-19-2011 10:02 AM

1) Send you my traffic and hopefully make 50 cents per surfer and probably never see them again.
2) Send them to any dating site and make $35 or more and see them again.

Hmm?

AdultKing 07-19-2011 10:09 AM

I wonder if the reason they skinned GFY is to target surfers rather than webmasters, because for the life of me I cannot see any incentive to promote this :2 cents:
