Google+ is of course a brand new product, one that?s still in beta, so perhaps Google?s automated banning process is what got Shatner shunned from using the service. Florian Rohrweck, for one, believes a ton of users reporting Shatner?s profile as fake is what got the man suspended.

The actor himself hasn?t provided any details about the ban ? nor has Google, who we?ve contacted about this ? but I have a feeling that this was merely an anomaly and Shatner?s Google+ account will live long and prosper once it?s reinstated.

It was probably because you are VERY not allowed to create fake name accounts. So sadly no twitter.com/fakepaulmarkham action on google+.

And yes, it's in beta, they made a mistake, and they fixed it.
