Why do sick people insist it's ok to stop in n get everyone else sick?

Fuck.. that gets under my skin. If ur puking up all day don't come visit us the very next morning then pick up our 11 month old and start playing with her. Jesus fuck.

I've told that woman's entire family that was passing the flu around each other to stay away from us when they are sick because we have a young baby and I have a lot of stomach problems where I can't really take a risk of getting a flu like that.

How do you people deal with this? Keep in mind my wife is best friends with all that family.

This entire town comes from the mentality that "nothing will happen, shut up about it". Including my wife lol

CamTraffic 07-17-2011 10:58 AM

i don't know but i am SICK of it!

iwantchixx 07-17-2011 11:01 AM

Now my wife is all pissed off at me for being "unreasonable, nothing will happen, you won't get sick and we can't be mean to ppl and tell them not to come over".

Sick people and their "you'll get it eventually anyways" attitude piss me off lol Next time I get sick with something ill go spit in everyone's toothbrush next time..

Phoenix 07-17-2011 11:02 AM

iwantchixx 07-17-2011 11:02 AM

Loki 07-17-2011 11:19 AM

that's not really the worst part, (sick people coming over when sick) just wait till your child starts going to school, and brings home every single virus and bug that's brewing in the school lol.

I've NEVER been sick as often as I did then when my oldest daughter got into grade school lol

What gets me is the US and work and sickness. I don't know how common this is, but one very large US adult company I know of demands employees take vacation days off if their are sick. What happens? People come in to work when they are sick because they don't want to lose what precious little vacation time they are given. THen, get this, other people get sick in the office!

I am sure this happens everywhere and it's nasty. If people are sick, they should be able to stay home and get better, not forced to come into work and spread it about.

There is nothing worse than a motherfucker who gets people sick that way.. They deserve to be raped to death, god damn them. If your wife and the rest of the town is that egregiously ignorant - RUN LIKE HELL - illness is only the BEGINNING of the things they will inflict upon you.

And after being TOLD not to do come and infect you... they do? Get a restraining order. They should be charged with some sort of bio crime..... I swear to god, if I could, I'd jail motherfucking people who do that shit.

For sure, that's a given, kids bring everything home! But it's like I told my wife.. if I can avoid sickness getting into the household while I still can I demand this bullshit stops!

I do have a lot of issues with my stomach and it will take a lot of time until it gets better enough to be able to handle a stomach flu without losing more weight, getting ulcer flare-ups and able to poop more often than once a week after a bout with diarrhea. Until I get to see the gastroenterologist and get this taken care of I have to be very careful. Last time I got sick I lost 32lbs in 3 weeks. I don't have any left to safely lose. For the first time since I was 8 years old.. I have ab muscles bone structure! lol

It just blows my mind how people cannot respect that, including my wife whom I'm on shaky ground with already because of her selfish outlook on many things as well as her family and friends consistently trying to run our lives.

Call centers are very bad for this! Last year at one I used to work at this chick came in so sick she was puking between calls in a bin beside her. They made her stay because they couldn't afford to lose staffing levels. Then everyone else got sick. By the end fo the week they had to hire a disinfectant team to come in and treat all the common areas and office surfaces during that h1n1 outbreak. After she did leave one night she went to the doctor and they confirmed h1n1 with tests. If they would have just let her go home seeing how sick she was it would have saved me about 3 days pay and the company 100's of 1000's of dollars in lost revenue due to not meeting staffing levels and medical claims.

It's people who fake sick all the time though that create those problems unfortunately.

it's sad but sometimes I think the ONLY way to get everyone in my life on the same page as me is to be a backwoods uneductated bunch of alcoholic closed-minded goofs liek them..

Sounds like she's a horrible piece of garbage... free yourself at ANY cost while there is still time... someone that terrible who is too outright worthless to not care if you or even she gets sick is a horrible person..

dc0ded 07-17-2011 12:58 PM

U r being paranoid mate... :)

Agent 488 07-17-2011 01:00 PM

nothing will happen, shut up about it.

ottopottomouse 07-17-2011 01:16 PM

Best way to get better is to give it to someone else.

It's not that she cares if I get sick or not, she just has a "nothing will happen" mentality that her daddy drove into her her entire life and did everything for her to fix everything then spent 10 years with the same type of person before meeting me.

She's come a LONG way since I met her but because SHE feels it's ok, my concerns fall on deaf ears and doesn't even take any heart into sticking up for something I feel so strongly for protecting our family.. instead she takes off and spends the afternoon with this person who still has the flu bug in her system.

There's been many things I never believed was a good idea at all (like moving to her home town) but if she feels strongly about something I support the one I love in it no matter what and had to kindly remind her of that fact that we are supposed to support each other on things either one of us feel strongly about.. falls on deaf ears and does everything in her power to go against being told "no".

Love her to death but this closed-minded "ill do what i want because nothing will happen" mentality gets very tiring..

For good reason.. I can't afford my health to take a hit from a flu bug.. I've lost way too much weight and hardly eat enough as it is. She's returning to work tomorrow and I'm playing stay-at-home daddy for awhile. If I get sick like I did last time again she will have to take time off to watch the baby and me.

Agent 488 07-17-2011 01:50 PM

sounds like has the right attitude and you are trying to make her share your delusions and paranoia?

be careful where it may end up:

I hate it too. If you are sick, stay the fuck at home. If your kids are sick, keep them home, don't send them to school or the daycare. We should be allowed to shoot sick people on sight.

Sharing is caring

u-Bob 07-17-2011 03:24 PM

It sounds like being chained to a rock..

It sounds like you tolerate all kinds of ridiculous shit and try to do whatever you can to make her happy and give her anything she wants - that definitely is no way to handle a woman.. and doesn't lead to them being very happy (I've been in your exact situation with two different women...)

Have you tried spanking her??
