More good news
 

...today. A long...long...time friend called and let me know that his cancer is in remission. The last time we had talked he called to say good bye as he thought he may be on his way out. Some kind of new drug has apparently worked for him.

We do not live in the same state...or we would go fishing together...though he is more into hunting than fishing.

We used to hunt together when we were kids.

Always good news when another person beats the big C. My brother's wife beat it about 6 years ago, but just recently found out she had more tumors in her abdomen. Those tumors were removed just this past week and she is recovering nicely.

I got word from my brother via....you guessed it.... email.

It has not been approved yet by the FDA but has been approved for testing so i guess that would be a clinical trial. I asked for the name of it.but I could not understand his pronunciation of it and I did not write down the spelling he provided.
