I treated my employees well when I had them, random little bonuses, take them out for drinks/food, let them work short days... etc.
My girlfriend works for me but doesn't work for shit! I try to have her do something and then I catch her watching youtube like for 2 hours... so she used to be responsible for more interesting tasks but now all she does is sort through lists and do data entry... at least until she straightens the fuck up! |
when i had employees back in the day, I treated them well. if they worked hard they had the freedom to do what they wanted. i learned this from a place I worked at years ago. as long as your numbers were up, you got to leave half day on friday so I was always busting my ass

ive worked for some pretty big pricks, one was pretty abusive to staff at times, it really sucks. i always try to be nice to the people i am in charge of. some bosses take the power and let it go to their heads and trip, making people do unnecessary stuff just because they can.

The real problem with this industry is many people are in a position to hire and fire but have no experience aside from being the owner's pal. One place I know of had a guy that was running the most menial staff suddenly running sales and marketing. His experience in this sector? None at all.
It makes it tough to respect a boss when you know he or she got there out of nepotism, not experience and skill set. And that happens a fuck of a lot in porn. |
I felt so sorry that I beat my assistant. So much so I fired him and got 2 new unbruised assistants. They work out really well.
