Different results wits statistics spftware
Is there some reasonable explanation why ,for example, google analytics for today is showing 760 unique visitors, while whoopra for same period is reporting 336?

no one knows ?

uniques vs raw?
|
I think there are discrepancies between many stat programs and Google Analytics. I have found this with one of them too.
Or is it only today that's significantly different? |
Pretty typical for any 3rd party stats program. For true raw & unique counts you'll have to rely on server stats programs.

Could be how they using different time zones,or you dont have their tracking codes on all sub pages.
|
Even server log reporting programs can report data differently.
Probably an IP thing - try checking on the difference between the two programs' settings of "return visits". If one program is set to consider a visitor "unique" if there's more than six (or one, or three) hours between visits, but the other only counts uniques on a daily basis, their reporting will differ considerably if the visitor returns once every two hours, for example. :D |
thanks
Yes,same time ,three counters installed, checked for few days back (waited to finish 24h).
