Prosecutors drop most charges against Miramar porn producers (FL)
 

FORT LAUDERDALE? Prosecutors have dropped most charges against two men accused of drugging porn actresses who showed up to film scenes at a Miramar warehouse, a Broward judge was told on Monday.

Emerson Callum, 45, and Lavont Flanders, 40, were facing charges of sexual battery on an incapacitated victim based on complaints by five women. The women said they were drugged before filming sex scenes for Miami Vibes Inc., on the 3500 block of State Road 7 in Miramar.

Lawyers for the men said the women had signed releases showing they knew they were there to film explicit pornography. The lawyers also said the women were filmed denying that they were under the influence of drugs.

I thought Florida had pretty strict porn/drug rules

Miramar is in South Florida, which is way more porn friendly and a lot of big porn companies are there...Nasty Dollars, Bang Bros, etc. As far as drugs South Florida is damn near the pill capital of the US now. Because of some fucked up loophole there are hundreds of pain clinics in South Florida where you can walk in, complain of some bullshit pain, and get scripts for Oxy, Vicodin, or whatever else you want no questions asked...

In the end a jury will never believe a whore. Sad but true.
