My answer would be yes, probably. I think WW3 will be fought between Islam & the West (perhaps in the aftermath of the new war on Iraq). :2 cents:

Maybe, but not quite yet. Islam still lacks the technology to form a decent enemy to the West. That'll change in the future though.

But Western Societies are open societies. A lot of them are already among us. The use of guerilla tactics combined with the desire to die for their cause makes them into a deadly enemy. I'm not so sure how a star wars system will prevent this kind of threat.

WW3 with the Islam would quickly cause the western countries to throw all muslims in prison camps. I'm afraid they would get exterminated mercilessly. Our thin layer of civilization is easily shattered when we are faced with danger.

Bah, they say that about every damned war. Hell, they said it about Gulf War I and look how that ended up (OMG MOTHER OF ALL BATTLES! hahaha). Not that I support the possibility of war 100%, but the crying wolf crowd is getting a little silly lately.

I predict that if it goes the distance, this will be another "surgical strike" conflict where very few American lives are lost, and very many positive objectives are accomplished.

this time we'll be going in though the south and north plus some para going though jordan to the west, it take a couple of days to get to baghdad then a few days there, 30 days and thats after a several days of bombing them first. Most will surrender the first few days

I'm against this war 100% but it's true it'll make TV a little more interesting to watch. I haven't had much fun watching TV since the ragheads dropped the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. That was great beer and beef jerky TV viewing and was good for at least three days.

Unfortunately, it's been very boring since.

Oh yeah, this is going to be the MOTHER OF BATTLES!!! This roughly translates into English as "more ragheads in sandals giving themselves upto CNN!"

What most people fail to comprehend is the gulf war is what started all this bullshit to begin with. If it wasnt for the gulf war I dont believe 9/11 would have ever happened and we certainly wouldnt be in the situation we are now.
