Video Lighting Bowens or Kino Flo

Looking to buy new video lighting. Which one are you using or would recommend?

Bowens SL455 Fluorescent Fixture

or

Kino Flo Diva-Lite 401 Fixture

Thanks in advance

These days? Neither. I'd go LED.

Where u at in the world? I have a set of Divas that have only been used 3 times. Too big to carry around Asia even with the custom suitcase I had made for them for travel.

I like Kino Flo, but much prefer the big fixtures. I use two four-foot four banks in the Gaffer Select kit as my main lights. The Divas are too small and underpowered for broadcast quality production in my opinion. Might be useful for more amateur productions or for traveling purposes however.

I think they are too big for even travel. In theory it seemed like a good idea but in reality doesn't work very well.

L.E.D. best compact lights you're gonna get for traveling or on location.

They are getting way cheaper these days, check ebay. You got to get many more than 3 panels, for porn get 6 or more and spread them all around at different levels so you have no hard shadows.

Actually ill be in the market for some L.E.D video lights, can anyone link me to some brands of models that would be good and aren't crazy expensive? It's just for solo vids. heh

I have some LED lights that I used about 3 years ago. But everything had a "blue-ish" tint to it. Have they improved that now?
I know my Kinos give a really nice skin tone.
