GoDaddy Auction is shit!
I was bidding on a domain name listed on godaddy.com auction. Domain was listed for 10 day auction and I paid godaddy to have it for my behalf so there system bidding for the domain. I was higher bidder just before 5 min the auction expire and suddenly I was out bidded by Proxy Bid which is shit!
There auction is just fake... What the fuck godaddy auction is. I lost very important domain name just due to proxy bid! I think go daddy is putting bid as proxy bid to increase domain price or their agents..., |
GoDaddy sucks big time, didn't you knew that?
|
A lot of little fuckers will watch the auction and wait till the last second to outbid you.
If I see a domain I like I never bid on it till the end of the auction, or if I do bid on it, I watch it till the end. I do not trust Godaddy and their proxy bidding. Quote:

I paid them to buy that domain on my behalf as a backorder and they are the registrar of that domain but they still unable to get the domain for me even for their paid customer who paid them for that expired domain

didn't you set a maximum bid you would go to? that way godaddy system would have kept bidding for you? :2 cents:
|
Yeah, apparently you got outbid by someone who offered more. If the domain was so important to you, why didn't you offer to pay more, now see how this cheapskate behavior has paid off for you.
If you fail to understand how Godaddy auctions works, then that's YOUR problem, not Godaddy's. |
if someone paid in last second, he still got domain ...

yeah godaddy sucks.,
but what you can do, is keep eye on that same domain., as it may , will be listed again after 5 days., thats what they do. just keep looking for it and also check if whois data upgraded , if the new buyer changed it. or if its godaddy's trick, it will be the same whois info., good luck. |
sounds like you don't really understand auctions or domains really. anyone can outbid you at any time...don't leave until the auction is done...
|
GoDaddy backorder service is complete garbage. You will always lose out to people using snapnames.com, pool.com etc..
|
I do set the highest bid possible and very wel aware ofnthe bidding process. Once you backorder domain than it's go daddy responsibility to get that domain for the customer.... Still I have set maximum bid fie the domain.
I have got few domains by this backorder but never outbidding by any PROXY BID... This what I am complaining for.. Proxy bid which I think it's go daddy people..... I have file a complain tgaul daddy as well and they say due to the complexity of the nature of go daddy auction this ticket has been transferred to high level techs and even after 24 hours no response yet. Go daddy is responsible for the domain loss.... Their auction system is not fairnand clean.... |
I'm not shocked. A few years ago I tried to transfer several domains to godaddy. I start the process and pay the fee and the next day I was told that those domains were not able to be transferred. No problem. I request a refund and am told I can't get a refund, but will only get a godaddy site credit. So they were unable to do what I paid them for, but they will not give me my money back. They are scum.

There is absolutly no point in bidding before the last second in any auctions anywhere.. doing so will just increase the price in the end

What did you set the bid to? a million dollars... or a http://mynokiablog.com/wp-content/up...03/billion.jpg |
Yes, by your striking argument it appears that GoDaddy Auctions are not actually auctions!
Forget the highest level tech support - they should deliver it to Bob Parsons himself! |
grammar sucks eh? THERE is not equal to THEIR ... their you go lol
|
Do you think the domain seller thinks it sucks?
