What do you prefer? Plesk or Cpanel
 

And what is the difference of it, I try to use google to find difference but it does not reflect to my vocabulary, I want someone who can state the difference between of this two and to those people who use this kind of software (i dont know the term)

Hate it as well. I still have it and just have my programmer do everything through ssh

cpanel > plesk

However I use plesk exclusively because I only host with mediatemple and they use plesk. It's not the end of the world, plesk is great - but I grew up on cpanel and just think WHM is far more user intuitive than plesk is. And with WHM you have tools to rebuild apache and php without doing it manually via ssh (which is the biggest thing I miss).

I don't use a control panel.

I manage my servers myself from the command line :)

cPanel is very good and the industry standard. There are many youtube videos if you need help with me.

It doesn't look that pretty, but it does work well.

If you use Plesk you MUST turn off suexec before you put any sites on it. It's one of the stupidest things I've every seen. Suexec gives any visitor to your site the rights to up load their own scripts and to change your pages. Plesk installs by default, so we regularly remove hundreds of hack scripts from Plesk servers.

Have Plesk and your server is slow or crashes? That's because of the millions of spam emails the bad guys are sending using your server.
