Who her misses the teletubbies?
|
Absolutely one on my favorite shows with Dipsy, Lala, Tinky Winky and Po. Oh, you know that I also like the NuNu.
Many early mornings, the only thing that got through my sleepy head was their comic antics that repeated all the important things twice, just in case I didn't fully understand them the first time. I remember when some censorship group went after Tinky Winky saying he was gay because of his color and his Magic Purse. Great stuff there! Art for art's sake. |
i think toya wilcox was one of them.
|
Toyah Wilcox was a voice for the teletubbies, and she is married to Robert Fripp.
Also was one of the groups in Urgh! A Music War with a song called "Danced" apparently about welcoming Satan back to the world, which would eventually mean the coming of the Teletubbies;) |
i used to get high as a kite and watch that back when i worked the midnight shift at some shithole factory. laughed my ass off.
|
My youngest used to go bat shit crazy every time she'd see them or hear anything to do with them. She like LaLa and I like Po. And of course, we had to buy every damn single one of them, the ones that talked and little ones she could carry with her. lol
But I kind of miss them, they were funny as hell at the time. lol They were a hell of a lot better than Dora the Fucking Explorer. lmao |
Not me :pimp
|
Telitubbies remind me of a dark time in my life, while I was serious strung out on drugs... I used to go to a field, and run around in circles, shouting 'Ehh Ohh' at the top of my voice. I thought I was the 5th Tellitubbie (Who was also a DJ)
DJ E.Z.T.B. was my name... |
I spent my share of time watching them over and over. Hard to ignore when kids watched it every time it was on. The noises they would make and the voices would just draw you to the TV. hahaha

Teletubbies were trippy as hell !!!
