Good place to look for Mac freeware?
 

Wanted to dl a basic ftp program and maybe a few other utilities. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

for ftp , buy fetch, it's cheap enough and the best ftp program I have ever used.

Thanks for the macupdate link. Just wanted to see what's out there. Still trying to get my Apple on but converting slowly from Windows...

I dont know about general freewear,

For FTP I used cyberduck at first, cause it is free... Then, I decided to purchase cuteftp for mac, cause I was used to it on windows...

Filezilla is a good free ftp program.

for ftp nothing beats transmit - they have a free working demo

also coda is good (from same company) if you like to edit/upload from same app.
