If you're a pornographer/businessman in California, VOTE REPUBLICAN!!

Yes, once in a while there's a John Ashcroft type of character who poses an abstract threat to the industry.

But the Democrats now have a chokehold on the California government, and they are doing REAL damage to our economy and our way of life.

Every year the parasites in Sacramento impose new and improved taxes and regulations that are chasing away business and destroying jobs.

The amazon debacle is only the latest, and most publicized, of these taxes/regulations. But this type of stuff happens all over the place, in every industry. Sacramento creates a new tax, and business shuts down operations and moves to some other state.

If you value your business, VOTE REPUBLICAN.

1. No, I don't support the war in Iraq.
2. No, I don't want to ban abortion.
3. No, I don't want to defend Bachman or Palin or Glenn Beck, or participate in whatever soap opera bullshit they've invented this week.

My primary concern is business, making money, paying my employees, and paying my mortgage. The Democrats are DESTROYING that.

100% truth. Nicely said.

Again, well said.

Once in a while? :1orglaugh

What I dislike about our 2 party system is if I'm in favor of abortion I also get more taxes. If I want lower taxes I also get the religious nuts.

Each issue should be debated on it's own not as a package with other shit.

I'd have to respectfully disagree with you here. First off, almost any Republican voted into office would go on record stating they want to destroy adult. But that's not really the issue.

Everyone's primary concern is making money. Today, most employees are The Working Poor, and most owners are keeping all the marbles. In fact, if they can, most employees aren't even American anymore. I get a kick out of the politicians who get really angry and say things like "I'm gonna create jobs when I get elected!" Uh huh. Jobs that pay $1.25 an hour...like the ones in China?

Jobs haven't left the state of CA -- they've left our nation.

We need to raise taxes on the wealthy. What's going on now is a joke. CEO's pay, as opposed to the people who work under them, is a disgrace. I could go on and on, but I won't.

I'm not a socialist. I'm a registered Republican. I haven't voted Republican in years, though, but I will when the Republicans start placing Nationalism above Partisanship. And admit they're not always right.

Yes because taxing, aka punishing, CEOs would want to make them bring back jobs :1orglaugh

iamtam 07-01-2011 07:41 AM

yeah, we know that republicans are always there to support porn. privately, in their hotel rooms, with their hookers and blow. but not in public.

you really think even lowering taxes would bring them back? no matter how low you go you can't compete with cheap foreign labor.

Tom_PM 07-01-2011 07:50 AM

The only problem is that the republicans will get into office talking about jobs jobs and more jobs, then they get in there and want to destroy public services and privatize everything and just sit down and whine and slow down everything.
They all need a time-out for a couple more cycles. All of em.

did you not get the memo?

California is bankrupt..

they are trying to raise money because the fed govt doesnt have the money to bail them out..

only banks are too big to fail, not states... :1orglaugh

it's not important who got California in this mess, but they need to figure out how to fix their problems.. and republicans or democrats are not the solution..
