Anyone here use 2257 Safe?

Just wondering if anyone (or who) here uses this service, looks pretty solid.

Any reviews?

no, we handle our own 2257, though it does look good!

2257 Safe doesn't exist anymore. Michael who was one of the principals, is busy with his business as an attorney and is not involved anymore. Dan, who was the admin & tech guy behind it started a very similar service called 2257Snap.com and transferred the exisiting customers.

KB promoted it, which is pretty much the kiss of death for anything he is involved in.. :1orglaugh

Kind of like vultures circling over a wounded animal.

Thanks Jim :thumbsup, last time I checked 2257 safe was still up. But it is definately down now unless I am trying the wrong URL.

2257 Snap sounds good. If it is the same, should work perfectly.

Just wanted to hear a few reviews from users if possible.....

Really? Isn't this a violation of privacy? Were the models, site owners etc informed? Not sure how it all works but it seems like it could be a violation of trust if not handled exactly right...

Hi Mark,

No, this wasn't a violation of privacy since I was the lead programmer and developer of the original 2257Safe. All of the existing clients knew me already. When Mike decided to pursue other endeavors, I did not want to see every client we had, left to hang in the wind after trusting us to be there for their records. I notified everybody in January that I would be taking control of this wonderful service that I originally developed, and that the name would change slightly, but nobody would notice anything. All they needed to do was update their 2257 statement with the new custodian of records address. All of the clients without exception were very appreciative of my response. I had made a long term commitment to be there for everybody when I wrote this software and started this company. When Mike could no longer fulfill that commitment, I took it solely upon myself to reconfigure everything to see to it that our promises were kept to everyone who was on board. And to this day, 2257Snap continues to grow and service the needs of those that require solid 2257 record keeping with 3rd party anonymity. Literally, all of our clients have become my friends because I am available day or night to help out and answer questions.

Best regards,
Dan

Didn't Michael get busted in all the Donny Long and ************* mess ... There were a bunch of posts and blogs etc going around about it.
