Payoneer Step Inside, A Friend Of Mine Scammed
I know people don't like it when we post threads trying to contact a company when they have a support email but this is something I wanted to get a reply with asap and people on this board will see what payoneer say and how they react with this.
A friend of mine recently paid $400 for a site using payoneer. After about 2 - 3 weeks the seller took back his domain via godaddy. My friend has already contacted payoneer to try and open a dispute. We have proof of the scam if a representative of payoneer wants to step inside and get this sorted out. I'm here posting for my friend because hes not a member of GFY. If payoneer are happy providing a source for a scamming kid to make his money illegally by scamming others of there hard earned cash then I have a problem with this service. My friend will be posting on other forums warning people about this scamming little prick, we have his ip and his email aswel. The site he purchased was mainstream not adult. |
Bump for answers!

more info on the scammer pls

.
# 1 This is not Payoneer's Fault. Please edit this thread or lock it. # 2 I told your friend that the domain is in propigation. This takes a couple weeks. Depending on your registar up to 1 month. # 3 I told your friend he cannot have a refund. A deal is a deal and he needs to wait.. # 4 I have a few more domains, since he is upset I can sell you others at a more discounted rate. Please let me know. Ill give them 60% off. You are the customer, I want to make you happy. . |

How on Earth do you know who I'm talking about? Did I give out e-mails and names or any info at all? |
not much u can do . If you paid him by "cheque" and went to your bank to complain , if the cheque had already cleared they would tell you to go to the police..

Might aswel post his IP, I hate scammers. 74.125.82.179 If you come across a guy with this email just block him. |

Im the guy. And I dont appreciate you talking about me in public. |

You realize that I can have you banned for posting my personal info like this on GFY without proof right? You cannot come on GFY and accuse someone of being a scammer withouth proof. I think GFY can vouch for me on this one about my character. |

Anyway, maybe I made a mistake calling out payoneer on here, its not about the money, he already knows the money is probably gone, its just the fact that this guy is using payoneer to scam other peoples hard earned cash. We both don't want this guy scamming anyone else so if payoneer would just kindly take some time to read the proof we provide then we're happy. If payoneer are happy providing an account with fraudulent funds then I guess theres nothing we can do.

Couldn't this just as easily be blamed on godaddy?
|
I dont see what payoneer's bad is here?

This isn't Payoneer's problem. Simply put, you should have been more careful dealing with someone you didn't know. As others have suggested Escrow would have been a good idea. |
No ones being blamed here, its just the fact that if $400 is going to be scammed via payoneer and they are not willing to do shit about it then they are just as bad as the scammer. Payoneer is a safe service to recieve money online. How about they make it safer?
If someone is willing to send proof of a scam then shouldn't they at least take the time to read this and possibly take action. right its not payoneers responsibility that illegal activity is going on, on someones account. Lets just let him get away with it and scam more people. I'm not going to go on and on because this isn't my money. I myself like payoneer so don't think I'm bashing them. I use payoneer regularly. for those saying next time use escrow, $400 was to low of a payment to do it via escrow. Its just hard to believe that people would go through the trouble to scam amounts like this these days. |
dont know what can do in such cases, its hard time for you friend, i hope you will sort it out
|
you ALWAYS use escrow when dealing with the anal hobbit. lesson learned. thread closed.

GoDaddy sucks
|
So Payoneer was used by 2 parties to transfer funds to each other, it DOES not matter if it was for a domain or whatever, the transfer was made, Payoneer?s job is done and finalized.
Sometime later the seller contacted GODADDY and transferred the domain out from the buyers account and I presume back to his account, I am lost where payoneer has ANYTHING to do with the actual scam with the domain and GODADDY!!?? Yes I agree Payoneer should be notified, they may well have a scammer using their service, it is then their decision alone if they wish to take it further. Your friend should be channeling all his energy towards getting his domain back from Godaddy and not bashing a company who has nothing to do with the actual scam. :2 cents: |
maybe try their support system, I don't think they are hooked into GFY for ticket issues.

Fuck Godaddy

How in the world would Payoneer be accountable for reviewing all different kinds of deals?
They offer a money transfer service, not a customer protection. That's what you use Paypal and escrow for. This is exactly what one get for trying to "cheap out" and wanting low cost money transfer, then you also do not have any protection. If you don't pay for the security, don't expect it if things go south. |
op made a mistake this is meant to be a scam alert thread.

Looks like Godaddy is the one you should be talking to
|
This thread isn't about blame its about taking away a scammers resource.
My friend doesn't really know how to deal with stuff like this so I contacted payoneer myself and explained everything. (will find out later what happens) All I'm doing is trying to make things safer for other webmasters. Take away a scammers resource then it makes it a lot harder for them to scam anyone else. Finally we have established that godaddy may suck a bit and that some of you suck a bit of payoneer cock, please read the whole thread carefully, I like payoneer, I have never had any problems with them. |

if your neighbour stole your car, in broad daylight , while being recorded by 500 camera's , his bank can't close his account or give his money to you.. payoneer can't either. in your case the dude stole something after you already bought it. Payoneer legally can't do anything, you are basically asking for them to commit a crime to recover your money. Quote:

Maybe you should take the cocks out of your ears and listen instead of making stupid false assumptions and insulting those trying to help you :) |
Hi guys,
I was out fo the office yesterday so I couldn't check the forum enough, but let me catch up here and see what's going on. Be back soon. |
He bought a site that gives away illegal shit?
|
OK, I've looked over everything involved.
First of all and most importantly, I am REALLY sorry about this problem that your friend and the service provider are having. Since we do not offer merchant services, that is we do not have a record of what someone pays someone else for in private loads, we have no way of having dispute resolution here. It's not that we don't want to, but it's not like eBay where the person who purchased something can show that he purchased through PayPal that has the receipt with the information in it. We DO have chargebacks, of course, in cases where the loader has said that they did not make the payment. We follow the legal courses set by MasterCard and these go through our processor. As such, we have no way of knowing exactly what went on between the two people. My suggestion is that they try to talk in a private way - email, SKype, etc. - where no one else gets involved and see what can be done to resolve the issue. Maybe the service provider can provide a new service. On the other hand, he can also issue a refund. All he would need to do is contact us and say he would like to refund the $400 that was spent and we will do so once he has that amount in his account. I don't want you to think that we don't take fraud seriously - we really do. I really recommend that the two parties involved try to fix this between themselves. For what it's worth, this can only happen with private loads. If money was transferred through a partner, they DO offer merchant services (of course - you know that someone paid for a cam show, etc.) then the chargeback process is much easier. Anytime someone reports a cardholder or partner to be a scammer/fraud/etc, we take it very seriously. I cannot comment on the process we go through to check said partners or cardholders, but I assure you that we do look into each case. We have no interest in having any fraudsters working through Payoneer. That said, with over 1 million cardholders, we would need your help reporting these cases. If you ever have a problem with one of our partners or cardholders, please contact our support and let us know, and we will definitely do everything we can to make sure that everything is as safe as can be. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with. |

Well, I guess Payoneer could do something about this. I mean, with their ties to CIA and Mossad it should be easy to know what really happened :winkwink:
on a side note, your friend being scammed on the sale of a piracy distribution site is... well.... amusing so to speak. You know that THIEVES STEAL, right? :winkwink: |
AnimeFevers, you've jerked off to one too many cartoon cocks, your brain is fucked.

Anyway payoneer already contacted me a while ago saying they wanted to resolve this issue. Some of you just don't have a brain. Try read the whole thread and not just the op. I wonder how many people skip this post and whine a little more. :waaaaahh |
