Do HS kids have credit cards these days?
 

I had a credit card when I was 15-16, which was quite rare at the time (12 years ago.) Is it still rare for a teen to have a credit card or is it more common now with all of the prepaid Visas available?

It is very common. You can go to just about any store and buy a prepaid visa card right at the checkout counter. Also if you open a savings account at your local bank the atm card they will give you normally acts as a visa or mastercard.

Neither of these are true credit cards, but they will work just about anywhere a credit card will work.

Hell no they don't buy porn. Anyone under the age of about 24 downloads everything for free. Porn, music, movies. They don't pay for anything. :)

My best friend can't get an ATM card. He's fucked over too many banks. He can use his ATM card to pull money out of the ATM, but can't buy anything with it. It's totally stupid.

Maybe not credit cards, but debit cards for sure.
