It turns out that Google gave me an unfriendly API key which breaks everywhere. here for example:

Also breaks when I was testing my widget.

Now I have a new one and my prototype code works.

Now my dynamic blog page generation scripting is glued together and I just have to write the search. This is the fun part. Fuck yeah.
