Chrome question
I just recently started using Chrome, it's great, feels so light and quick compared to FF and IE.
BUT......... it's missing something, in FF the location bar has a dropdown menu with the URL's i frequently visit. Chrome doesn't seem to have this. Or am i missing something? |
might be an extension to do it
|
well i found something similar, if you hold down the back button it will show a drop down of sites you have visited in that tab.
|
chrome (out of the box) has the "autofill"/"instant" navigation bar instead of the drop down (sites frequently visited). start typing the beginning of the address, and it'll fill in the rest. just press enter.
about 2 weeks after using it exclusively, i rarely type in more than 3-4 letters and it figures out where i want to go. maybe try an extension like this one? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...lbliedgiabmcdd |
I don't know about the Windows version of Chrome but on the Mac, at the top I can click "History" and it'll show me a list of sites that I've visited.
I've been using Chrome religiously now for about a year, love it!!! |
