    Ero-Ads Speedclicks: Paying for uniques only, charged for raws

    anyone here buy speedclicks on ero-Advertising? Any idea how exactly they count unique/raw for that traffic?

    I bought speedclicks twice this month - minimum bid of 0.0027 per click (without selecting "Accept Raw Clicks" which lowers bid by half) - out of the total hits they sent one third were from repeat IPs yet they charged me for all hits at the unique bid/price!

      did you contact them?They are easy and good to work with imo and very reasonable

                  Perhaps they count uniques as per cookies, and not IPs?

                      ero-ads imho run an amateurish operation .. the admin interface they give you is pretty bad .;. .. I would not buy there again

                          Our system counts unique visitors per 12h per advertisement and basically it all depends on the length of the period you purchased speed clicks for!

                              why is a "unique" visitor based on 12hours ? instead of the generally accepted 24 hours ?

                              imho you run a very poor operation ..

                                  12 hours unique is ok for me, but when there is big number of visitors generally in system

                                      since i don't know the quality of the traffic maybe he got fair value for what he paid - hopefully some customers will post their opinions.
                                      I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

                                          You forgot a keyword "claims" there has been no proof shown.

                                          I find eros count to be pretty accurate. More so than some others.

                                              As mentioned earlier, our system is counting unique visitors per 12h per advertisement. Of course there is still a possibility to receive raw traffic during these 12h but our system doesn't charge the advertiser for it.

                                                  here are the stat, used self-hosted Tracking202

                                                  Started 6/09/2011 at 5:47pm / ended 6/10/2011 10:39am (~17hrs)
                                                  7562 total clicks according to Ero-Advertising
                                                  7313 total clicks according to my script: 5059 unique IPs, 2254 repeat IPs

                                                  6/16/2011:
                                                  Started at 3:28am Eastern US ended 3:53am (~25 minutes)
                                                  3869 total clicks according to Ero-Advertising
                                                  3550 total clicks according to my script: 2361 unique IPs, 1189 repeat IPs

                                                  @Mutt speedclicks is blind traffic, redirects etc. Combing trough my referrer logs I saw people coming from a page that auto refreshed to the speedclick URL. Some of it comes from thumb/text ads too.

                                                  I didn't pay much attention the first time I bought the traffic, but I watched the second buy as it went trough and it was all the repeat IPs I was seeing that had me wondering since I had clearly disabled raw buys yet my account balance was going down proportionate to what I was receiving
