Why so many programs switching to weekly payouts now?

Not complaining, just curious why it took so long. :)

sponsornetworks 06-22-2011 09:25 PM

because it trusted by webmasters , help them earn more in month :)

Konda 06-22-2011 09:28 PM

Desperate for sales.
Probably they can't compete with quality and ratios, so they have to attract affiliates/sales in another way.

Just think about the amount of fraud and carding that will hit these programs, they take huge risks by doing this. In the end it will only hurt the programs and it's affiliates.

GTS Mark 06-22-2011 09:30 PM

Cash is king I suppose!

I don't see how they're taking a risk doing it, they can still delay payments..

ThatOtherGuy - BANNED FOR LIFE 06-22-2011 09:39 PM

Easier for Transactions Aggregators to detect fraud.

Fat Panda 06-22-2011 09:43 PM

a lot easier for me to run ad campaigns with programs that pay weekly.

Alprazolam 06-22-2011 09:50 PM

super desperate to try and stay in business.

the ones you see doing this are the ones to stay away from. especially the ones who always talk about conversions and paying out, while in the same breath having to defend themselves in other threads for shady stuff.

Hmm, don't you think you're generalizing just a bit?

Because every single carder out there will try to hit these programs.
It takes more than 1 week + 4 days holdback to catch a frauder/carder if he knows what he's doing.

1. To keep webmasters happy
2. Because we now can
3. Fraudulent webmasters are history in our databases

We have it all in check, the niches, programs, payouts and ratio's!

AdultKing 06-22-2011 10:46 PM

Competition, once a couple offer it plenty of others will hop on the bandwagon to stay competitive.

the last resort to get some affiliates

TheDoc 06-23-2011 01:49 AM

MANY programs have had weekly payouts for years....

A few cam companies instantly came to mind and if I really thought about it I'm sure I could name roughly 20 paysite programs with weekly payouts. One of the first adult programs online had weekly payouts.

Years ago it was a pain, you needed staff if you had any size. Today, you need no staff or can fully be out sourced, it can be fully automated as well now, and it's cheaper today. That's why we're seeing a growth in weekly payouts.

Nicky 06-23-2011 02:39 AM

We have had weekly payouts for a long time. It's good cash-flow for affiliates that do ad campaigns etc

No it doesn't. I can spot fraud in minutes. Because no carder is good enough to beat eyes on checking. With that said, 2 weeks hold is a safety zone.

seeandsee 06-23-2011 03:24 AM

it because people love to have cash fast in this hard times

The Ghost 06-23-2011 04:00 AM

Payouts sent 2x a month here, always on time. Same as it's been the last 5 years :)

margarita 06-23-2011 04:55 AM

Phoenix 06-23-2011 04:57 AM

TheDoc 06-23-2011 05:38 AM

A few programs had daily payouts, I'm pretty sure ARS and Flashcash both did at one point, paid out via epass if I remember correctly.
