I have seen 12-yearolds jump from Old Bridge in Mostar (Bosnia) and the height there is between 24 and 27 meters.

I saw something like that in Dubrovnik, Croatia about 2 years ago.

I can't even imagine what that feels like to hit the water at that speed, and I've been able to dive from 10m.

And...jumping off a tall structure and diving off of it are two completely different things.

yeah we went to flug tag last summer, where people build these contraptions, push them off a 40 foot drop, and try to glide/fly the farthest. blast to watch these guys fail/crash into the water. see some interesting things too

Actually from what i've heard they have a hose or pump or something breaking up the water surface near where they hit the water to make it safer

A friend of mine just died jumping 80+ feet up, hit the water weird and died instantly

Ya RedBull does a pretty good Job at these type of things. Have any of you ever seen RedBull "Crushed Ice". It's basically full contact racing on Ice Skates.
