A 26-year-old man was arrested Thursday in Tempe by Chandler police after investigators said he lured at least three teenage girls to his home and encouraged them to engage in sexually explicit acts while being photographed for various websites.

The arrest involved detectives from Chandler, Tempe, Mesa and Scottsdale police departments.

On April 11, 2010, the suspect, Antonio Gonzalez, allegedly invited a 17-year-old girl to his home, near Rural and Warner roads in Tempe, to take photographs for his self-titled modeling agency, Gonzo Modeling, police said.


Gonzalez first took the girl to Chandler Mall to purchase a string bikini, and later to his house, police said. Records state Gonzalez tried pulling down the victim's dress, at which point she told him that she wasn't interested in taking nude photos.

Shortly afterward, police said Gonzalez again tried to untie a bikini from the girl and forced her hand onto his genitals. The victim again protested and told him she didn't want any sexual contact, court records said. According to the victim, Gonzalez showed her pictures of him committing sexual acts with two other girls, one of which police identified as being 16 at the time she was photographed.

Chandler police obtained a search warrant and discovered explicit photos from several girls on the suspect's office computer in Tempe.

Gonzalez admitted to police that he knew the ages of the 16- and 17-year-old victims before he made sexual advances, police said. Records show that Gonzalez used social networking websites to identify and recruit young girls to take photographs for at least two different pornographic websites.

Gonzalez was arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation involving minors, furnishing obscene material to minors, sexual misconduct with minors, and sexual abuse. At the time of arrest, Gonzalez was awaiting trail for a previous charge in which he was accused of distributing alcohol to minors.

Police are continuing to investigate.

It's a news report, nothing in that is necessarily fact. Age of consent in Az is 18? .

Yes shooting nude explicit photos and or video of anyone under the age of 18 is illegal with in the USA.

Age 16 and consenting is only for personal relationships outside of adult industry.
If one is an adult content shooter or adult industry recruiter, it is not a good thing to be sexually involved with any female model under the age of 18.
