    Solution to Hockey riots

    Now that Winnipeg has a team, i have a guaranteed solution to prevent any and all hockey riots.

    Hold all Stanley cup playoffs in Winnipeg in Feb when it's -40C outside. Cancel the game if the temperature goes above -30C.

    guaranteed no riots outside no matter what happens in the game.

                  hmm you are on to something here... If the finals were not held at the home town arenas that would definitely lower the chances of any rioting after games.. have it go on a tour even of a hand full of arenas across the league.. would be good for the sport I'd say...

                  hometown fans may miss out on some home games, but they are the ones ruining it with riots.

                                          Good idea Scott. I was thinking along the same line. The NHL season is way to long. Once summer hits I don't give a fuck about hockey.. I mean still hockey in the middle of June? It's absolutely retarded. Should be wrapped up and done by February the latest.

                                                  they need to identify and throw the book at the people that did this, it would be remembered next time this kind of thing might start to happen and you would remove the "casual rioters" that make the police job so difficult

                                                          Yea it is about the dollaz.. I think one of the reasons hockey hasn't caught on in the US is the really long seasons tho.

                                                                  plus baseball has a 162 game season so whether enough people in the US like it or not it has nothing to do with season length...
