All BsAs streets do not look like this one ! (except the black&white floor which is quite everywhere...)
But this city is fantastic ! I was living there in 2001, spent one of my most fabulous time... |
I've been there tons of times, and shot a couple of scenes there, my biz partner just came from there too..

I've been there. Loved it. The food is so cheap and good, the wine is great, people were lovely, fun.

as for the OP, no, it doesn't look like that, only downtown ("Microcentro"), the rest is way more modern, that zone buildings are protected so you can't change or demolish them even if you are the owner (well, in theory :winkwink:) Here you have some photos of Buenos Aires http://www.metrolic.com/wp-content/u...os-aires-2.jpg http://www.info-slovenia.info/wp-con...res-Avenue.jpg http://i.treehugger.com/files/th_ima...os%20Aires.jpg http://www.lolahousebuenosaires.com/...757f61a8de.jpg http://doniganmerritt.files.wordpres...v-_de_mayo.jpg http://www.clubtravel.co.za/admin/sp...enosAires2.jpg http://www.eurixinternational.de/img...os-aires-2.jpg |

Hey There, I live in Buenos Aires and I can tell you that is a city with a little bit of everything.
The picture that you posted is from particular area or neighbouhood. You have many different neighbourhoods with different looks. You have the old-french-european ones , the super modern "Puerto Madero", a typical argentine neighbourhood like "Belgrano" , "Palermo", etc... Then at night, I highly reccomend you to go to Palermo, that looks like the Soho from NY. Palermo Soho : http://www.google.com.ar/search?hl=e...0l0l0l0l0l0ll0 Palermo Hollywood :http://www.google.com.ar/search?hl=e...1l1067l2-3.1l4 If you stay longer you can also go to ver cool Museums & Art Galleries and also a Soccer Match wich is a nice attraction for non latin people :) You can find cool apartments here : www.roomsinbuenosaires.com Let me know if you need any help, I will be glad to guide u |

I was going to go but then that asteriod from Klendathu hit it and the bugs killed all the mobile infantry guys. Then that guy that Denise Richards was fucking got his brains sucked out and Doogie Howser figured out what the smart bug was up to. I just didnt feel like going after seeing all that shit on the news.

I just love the Name Aries, positive vibes out the Yin-Yang.

I prefer Brazil, but this is a matter of personal choice.
Try Florianopolis. You will be amazed! |

Thanks mate! Soho looks good to me. I also like areas where there are parks and promenades. What cost of living are we talking about? How expensive it is ? |

Right now it's not the best place to go, due of a shitty CHILEAN VOLCANO that is exploding and feeding the area with garbage. As for Sid70, take care with Apartments rentals.. If you are "Yankee", they use to charge you 20 times more for the apartment, than if you are a local. An apartment building rental per month (2 rooms) in a good area is about 500 bucks per month. But there is a USA guy that built an empire buying tons of apartments and charging 5000 dollars per 15 days to Yankees or North Americans. Quite a scammer if you ask me. Well, I don't know your situation, Sid70, but if you are a millionaire maybe you can pay that. Otherwise go for any good hotel and you will pay less. The city is nice. Of course you have the yanwy towns, because it's one of the only countries in the world where illegal inmigrants are welcome in thousands every single day, due of the bad political rules of the gov. So they locate in the marginal towns, also known as villas, or shawny toens in english. If you have any question just ask. |
Best place to party, hottest women ever!!

Microcentro indeed isnt the best place to live.. its kinda crazy too many people around.. I believe best places are palermo, recoleta even Belgrano. Since its a big city there is many ways to move from one place to an other. Indeed you have to be careful with you walet but to be honest where you wont need to be? IT is like every big city it has positive things and negatives.. Argentina is beautiful and girls as well so I guess (since I lived in USA) that to travel to Argentina for u and try it out it is worth it.
