Home from the Xbiz Summer Forum - Chicago. Your thoughts on the show?
 

I had a good time seeing new and familiar faces. I'm not even going to attempt to give individual shout-outs to everyone I spent time with, but overall I think it was a nice, eventful show. Props to the Xbiz crew for venturing out and doing a mid-west show, I hope there are more to come in this area. They were very accommodating and I think the seminars were rather interesting, especially the one I spoke on hehe. :winkwink: :1orglaugh :)

What was the official headcount on attendees? It seemed somewhat small, but that's to be expected when most people were probably already booked for San Francisco coming up in a couple of weeks... btw I was really surprised to meet some many Chicago-based people and companies. You guys are doing big things over there!

The only downside is the fact that I ended up really under the weather after the very first night, with some minor flu-like symptoms etc. Ughhhhh, who knew it was going to be so damn cold in Chicago!? I had to buy a jacket my first day there lol. That also meant I was in bed by midnight every single night... :Oh crap so I didn't even get to experience the Chicago night life! The beds at the Sofitel are wayyy too damn comfy when you're sick. I wanted to take one of those pillows home with me. :1orglaugh

Anyways, hoping I am back 100% tomorrow to follow-up with everyone.

I am really interested to hear YOUR thoughts on the show? Good, bad, ugly?

I liked the hotel, I guess someone didn't show up for the siminar for cams so I was asked to fill in was told I did pretty good.
Made sure to have some deep dish pizza.

Did anyone else talk to the Tranny? Ateast talked to the tranny and knew it was a tranny?

Hoping for another tranny performer out of the conversion!

Chicago is notorious for small turnouts at every Internet marketing event I have ever been to. I would venture to say that XBIZ had a better turn out than the last few times Ad Tech came to Chicago.

There were more people than I expected and the seminars were topical so I consider the show a success.

That would have been me. I look forward to every Xbiz show but had to cancel out on this one at almost the very last minute.

Did anyone catch the panel I was on. I had a lot of fun being up there with Shelly from Swurve. I was nervous for the first 15 minutes of it, but think I pulled it out by the end.

I just bought those glasses, my eyes are sooo bad... 5.0 in each of em lol.

YES, I caught the panel you were on. Thought you sounded great:thumbsup I have the session taped, as well as have stills , all the shots will be up late tonight. XBiz has the tapes, they will edit them and put them up in due time I presume :2 cents:
