What's the point in offering autorenew if your system doesn't support it?

For some reason I get the vague impression that this story appears to lack a certain level of detail which may, in some instances, make the story line of this post somewhat more difficult to ascertain.

Almost lost a huge domain name last week because of this. I had it set to auto renew and the fucking thing didnt. :mad:

Maybe it's intentional, so they can scoop up your domains for themselves. The auto-renew gives you a false sense of security. By the time you realize your domains didn't auto-renew, it's too late.

Beware of shady registrars.

If the domain is worth anything, youll renew it a few years ahead.... and avoid the risk of a failing auto renew.

Need preloaded I assume? Solution: Place the names in a sub account for autorenew.
