CC Bill Link Codes & Mobile

They don't work on my Droid.
If I try to go to http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...0000&PA=307424
on my DroidX I get nothing.

Anyone know a fix for that since the CC Bill redirect link codes just don't function on my Droid. (haven't checked yet with my Ipad)

surely there must be a way of securing the mobile sale via CCBill, they can't have missed out completely on this one? or ?

It totally shocked me. I launched my first all mobile free site last night and was going to use that Local Escorts link...but that CC Bill link code doesn't work. :(

My ICQ is 623327
But all you have to do is just try that url on your mobile device and you will see my issue right there. :)

Maybe one of the paysite owners who only uses CC Bill for processing has found a way to successfully do it with a mobile version of their site?
Anyone?

CCBill_Adam 06-06-2011 01:04 PM

Robbie,

There aren't any known issues from CCBill's side, we can't replicate the issue. If you can reply to the ICQ's we sent you earlier that would be helpful in allowing us further investigate this.

Thank you-

Adam

How professional.

To me the link code works on Iphone4 and an LG working on Android that I borrowed to my sister. On both cases I'm being redirected to an escort website

Damn...I just checked it again on my DroidX and I still get the
"Web page not available" page.

Anybody else with a Droid or Droid2 or DroidX?

Anyone?

All our sites have mobile versions and never experienced this in any of the devises I have available neither did any of the programmers/designer who worked on our program and I can say the same for our affiliates. Neither of them ever complained about this before.

barcodes 06-06-2011 01:54 PM

what browser are you using on your phone?

I just tried it on my evo 4g. Using the phones default browser it went through. Using firefox it didn't.

the first time i put it in ff it crashed, second time just sat there, blank.

Best of luck with it

All these being said I'm still very curious about the reason of your problem

Robbie 06-06-2011 02:45 PM

Hmmm...I just tried it on my daughters DroidX and it worked just fine.
The only difference is my phone has the Liberty ROM on it. But when I go to fmbip.com on both our phones it shows that we are both using Safari as a browser.

I'm at a loss. But obviously it's something on my phone. :(

Looks like CC Bill's codes must work just fine for mobile.

I hope you find a solution. If this happen to you it may happen to other users. Perhaps you should give all the details to CCBill to see if they find a way to fix it.

I had a big headache a couple of months ago with a problem on android devices viewing videos on my sites until I found out the default browser on androids don't support password sessions on it's player

livexxx 06-06-2011 05:16 PM

I asked CCBill for the mobile versions of their checkout pages and just use the normal forms for web users.
