Anyone used nginx? good/bad experience with it?

thinking of running it for static files (or maybe for everything, but anything that isn't static file making apache do the work (reverse proxy i think)

I using it for years,i would not going back to apache even if you pay millions.Even CGI works there better then on apache.

the h264 streaming module for it is a bit iffy, and it does some wierd stuff sometimes randomly throwing 500 internal server errors for no reason... I'm not a fan

its support for streaming is a little iffy but for static content nothing beats it.

I might try lighttpd for streaming instead, actually got some of the 500 errors k0nrad mentioned.
