That's not quite what this does.

I actually have Lojack on mine. If it goes lost or stolen, the police will return it to me.

That's not really what the site says. It says it has a team that will work with the cops to try and get it back.

And that's 40 bucks.

Or Prey does the same thing exactly for free, but you'd have to go to the police and show them the GPS location yourself.

Didn't cost me anything either and it's a company that's been around and trusted for years. I've had laptops stolen, so the peace of mind would probably be worth it even if I had to pay. The bags some of us carry around are pretty tempting these days. Throw your laptop, a camera and lens, maybe your tablet and smartphone and someone could walk off with $5k in a few seconds.

I'm installing Prey on everything else in the house today. Looks like a great package, so thanks for posting. I hadn't come across it yet.
