Ever sold a domain on NameCheap Marketplace?
I was think about selling some names on Namecheap.
Anyone have any luck selling there? Looks like the max price is $1000? http://www.namecheap.com/marketplace/buy-domains.aspx |
looks like they raised the max price, it used to be around $200.
|
I gave away a couple of domains there, have not sold any so far although they have been listed for a long time, well it is free....
|
More luck selling them with XBIZ or godaddy, more hits from godaddy auctions. Try a broker, they seem to get the job done till it's done :)

I have sold quite a few there. Mostly cheap ones I am clearing. $10 - $25 etc.
Also sold some on dynadot marketplace for bigger amount ($100+) But not many. |
forkbeard has sold a few I think
|
I sold alot of them on namecheap. All low budhet domains, like 10-25 bucks or so, just to clear them out and to get some of my investment back. Wouldn't use them for high profile domains, as the marketplace on namecheap is low budget only. But they work great for sub 100$ domains!

I have looked at it a couple of times, but never seen anything worth buying on there.
Attracts poor quality in my opinion. |
Do you have to have your domains with NameCheap to sell in their marketplace?
|
try sedo or godaddy
|
I sold one a few years ago. smooth transaction
|
I don't have domains on NameCheap but it sounds like it'd be more for low-budget names. Afternic and Sedo would be better for anything else (Afternic names get listed on GD auctions too).

Go with Godaddy auctions, more eyes = more potential buyers
|
no but ive bought a ton of shitty domains lmao
