best way to resize animated .gif without losing animation?
 
whats the best utility for this, just want to resize a large to small without losing the animation.

not sure if ffmpeg can do this?

i've always used Ulead gif animator to scale gifs, create gif animations etc and i am sure you can find that still available.

Photoshop can do it fine .... FILE >> IMPORT >> frames as layers

best way to reduce size is reduce physical dimensions ... but you also should look into reducing number of colors, and even number of frames.

I would use Fireworks to do that for sure. Fireworks rocks for animated gifs.

I used to use ImageReady for making and editing gifs but now I use CS5 to do it all.

On another not does anyone know how to convert a swf flash object to a gif?

adobe flash media encoder you can select gif as output

I actually didn't know that it could be resized without loosing the animation. Now i do know.
