Here are a few photos from my trip to New Zealand this month. The countryside is awesome, empty, and a postcard view around every corner.

1. Pacific Ocean Near Kaikoura with sea mist blowing in.

2. Breakers Near Perpendicular Point on Tasman Sea. I counted 9 waves rolling in at once.

3. Fox Glacier viewed from the Valley in the Morning Light.

4. Lake Matheson at Dawn.

5. Breakers at Pancake Rocks. The rocks are layered in flat slabs.

6. Lake Hawea. A natural glacial lake where a guy pulled out a 42 lb trout. Notice: no people, docks, boats, houses, etc. Very empty and quiet with nothing but the wind.

you flew porn models all the way to new zealand for a shoot? wow, business must be good.

I just have a different set of priorities. Quality locations are an equal priority to quality models. None of our shooting is done at our home city. About half of our shooting is done in various far off lands. I trade off personal wealth in favor of great locations and quality productions.
