'Grease' actor Jeff Conaway Dead
 

Actor Jeff Conaway, who was in the TV series "Taxi" and the movie "Grease," died Friday morning from pneumonia, his manager said.

Conaway, 60, suffered from pneumonia and sepsis in recent weeks and had been in a medically-induced coma in an Encino, California, hospital for two weeks, manager Phil Brock said.

At least he didn't OD/get arrested like a lot of the other people who have been on Celebrity Rehab.

He was a hopeless junkie, living with a long time hopeless junkie. Anyone that saw Celebrity Rehab and the 2 seasons he was on it, could clearly see he was living on borrowed time and he was quite open about not wanting to live and not wanting to get off of all the meds, coke etc... I would think its a very safe bet to say that whatever the "cause of death" was, it was the direct result of his drug addiction and drug abuse.

No one mentions he was on Babylon 5 for 4 seasons.

He was toasted, surprised he lasted this long. Wonder what Dr. Screw is thinking :D

Agreed, he looked like he had one foot already in the grave during Celebrity Rehab as he could hardly get around.

His derailed his career when he left Taxi thinking he was the star and tried to get a huge increase in pay. In that celeb rehab all he talked about was wanting to die. Well he got his wish hope he's enjoying his death.

God rest his soul.

Although it seemed like much of his whining about his back pain and wanting to die was just a ploy to get more pain meds, it was obvious he wasn't going to go home after his stint and remain sober.

I have seen him several times in Rehab, and somehow this message doesn't surprise me.

Met him several times and he was a really cool and down to earth guy. Sad to see him go. Rest In Peace Jeff C.
