GFY runners and joggers, inside now, you sweaty bastards.

Why the fuck do you run IN THE BIKE LANE GOING THE WRONG WAY?????

Someone please explain this to me.

There is a PICTURE OF A FUCKING BIKE ON THE GROUND AND AN ARROW:

http://richmondva.files.wordpress.co...bike-lanes.jpg

Picture of bike = bicyclists.
Arrow = go this direction.

Does your runner's high make you unable to comprehend simple pictographs?

I think its funny how bikers think they have the right away over anything, including joggers and cars.

should go cars > bikes > joggers :2 cents:

DirtyDanza 05-26-2011 09:02 AM

so you can see oncoming traffic to jump the fuck out the way.......

So as a bicyclist I should ride into oncoming traffic?

Bike lane.

Picture of bike on ground.

If you are on bike, this is your lane.

Fucksakes 05-26-2011 09:12 AM

so your saying all runners are the same and can't follow simple signs?

I run either on the side of the road facing traffic or on the right side of a path, never on a bike only path :)

Yes, all runners. Every single one of you.

I usually ride my bike on short errands and in the last week I have been meaning to ask this about 50 times. Every single time I have been out this week I have been staring down some fool running directly at me and it's pissing me off.

THERE IS A PICTURE OF A FUCKING BIKE ON THE GROUND WHY ARE YOU PLAYING CHICKEN WITH ME????

DateDoc 05-26-2011 09:20 AM

Yeah that's ridiculous. On the same hand, I hate bikes on the sidewalk or in crosswalks. I generally just push them over or out of my way and since only hippies ride bikes there's nothing they can do about it but cry.

CaptainHowdy 05-26-2011 09:45 AM

I don't see a fitness enthusiast giving anything much of a thought ...

Scott McD 05-26-2011 09:46 AM

All those damn bikes in Holland piss me off BIG time !!!

I don't ride on the sidewalk or in the crosswalk...they fucking have WALK right in the fucking name.

You can try to push me over if you want tho, I'm not a hippie, I'm a fat man with rage issues and a 14 lb lock on a chain.

thickcash_amo 05-26-2011 09:53 AM

I jog on the sidewalk. Kinda off the subject, but I hated it when drive up to Tahoe on the smallest, most windy road possible and damn bicyclists take up half the road. there is no getting around them, and if you try you end up almost having a head on with the oncoming traffic. they should have their own paths or not be able to use the roads!

In terms of accident injury survival the list is in the same order :1orglaugh

.

Rochard 05-26-2011 10:04 AM

I run daily. I don't run on the side of the road. I run around a lake.

Also, why would a jogger use a bike lane? Wouldn't you use the sidewalk in this case?

Fucksakes 05-26-2011 10:13 AM

in that case...

why does every bike rider think he can avoid these simple signs, are they to hard to see, is it not common sense? ill run your mother fuckers over ;)

This is what I am asking, yes.

ottopottomouse 05-26-2011 11:30 AM

Why don't you ask some of the ones that actually get in your way?

People on bikes are idiots. Out on the main road to get to the freeway you have to make a right hand turn onto another street, which forces cars through the bike lane. Last month a biker got badly mauled because a car crossed this bike lane. It doesn't make sense to me at all - Why would a biker have the right of way? Easier to stop a slow moving bike than it is a car making a right hand turn at 30mph.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a biker too. I tend to stay on local trails; I can get nearly anywhere in town via trails. When there isn't a trail I use the sidewalk; It's common sense - I don't want cars flying past me at 40mph five feet away from me.

As a sidenote.... They are building a fourteen mile bypass around my home town here, which should open up next year. Every weekend I explore it on my bike. The bridges are up, but the roads aren't paved yet, so it's fun on the bike.

It amazes me how uncommon 'common sense' is.

Sidewalk has 'walk' right in the motherfucking name. It's the SIDE where you WALK.

Are you walking when you ride a bike? No. Is it called the sideride? No.

Shey 05-26-2011 05:01 PM

I run on a treadmill while in the city, no need to pollute my lungs any more than necessary. Then again I'm not a hardcore runner/jogger.

bushwacker 05-26-2011 05:07 PM

I run on the beach, where there are no bikes or cars. The only thing I need to avoid is scantly clad women. :thumbsup

Spunky 05-26-2011 09:41 PM

I don't run on the streets,Charley will hit and run

marlboroack 05-26-2011 10:07 PM

Well back in the day you were supposed to ride with traffic. Now to explain to you i think that trail is for the Bikes. So the Arrow is pointing down the bikers path. Totally legal. But if they had it the way people ride today going against traffic that would be illegal.

Who fucking cares, i go facing traffic so i can see who hit me if i got hit then sue the shit out of them and have a bit more information about him if he pulled a hit and run kinda thing. Nuh uh, not with marlboroack will he pull some fucked up shit like that.

shimmy2 05-26-2011 10:11 PM

i run against the flow of traffic to see whats coming my way. in florida it was seniors in buicks swerwing into the shoulder, in the islands its scooter/moto dodging. either way you want to see whats coming and not have ur back to any kind of traffic

SIK 05-26-2011 10:17 PM

I'm a bike. Deal with it.
