I was at a high dollar fundraiser recently and Russell was one of the comedians entertaining the crowd. HIS STANDUP IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

He's funny if you just leave him unscripted and let him ramble, his radio shows used to be really funny. Not that good in comedy films though.

Seems strange that Japan lets Naomi Campbell in who's been done for assault on numerous occasions and Cheryl Cole who was done for racist assault, but not him.

I doubt they would have deported him if he wasn't Russel Brand. The dude isn't very well-liked, so I'm sure that contributed to it. Having done heroin in the past isn't really a valid reason to kick someone out of the country.
