Fast food restaurants get lots of criticism for serving up fatty, salty, calorie-dense fare. But Don Gorske has no complaints. The 57-year-old retired prison guard was just honored at his hometown McDonalds for eating his 25,000th Big Mac - a feat that took him 39 years to accomplish.

Well, apparently it took all of his hair with it and he has resorted to wearing a terrible looking cheap toupee.

In all seriousness, the thought of this makes me repulsed.

This compares a happy meal:

A cheeseburger Happy Meal -- a small cheeseburger with small fries and 8 ounces of 1% milk -- has 640 calories, 26 grams of fat and 1,040 milligrams of sodium, according to a nutritional menu from the McDonald's website.

With a home made peanut butter & jelly sandwich:

For the sandwich, let's use two slices of Wonder bread (70 calories each), two tablespoons of Jif (190 calories) and one tablespoon of Welch's grape jelly (49 calories). Add half an apple (47 calories). And a cup of 1% milk (102 calories). According to CalorieCount.com, that lunch comes in at 528 calories.

I am pretty sure it's the saturated fats that are the issue and no necessarily the calories. :2 cents:

No doubt, if I had kids I wouldn't feed them that trash. You can feel the grease if you eat it.. .

I couldn't eat one 3 days in a row let alone average 1¾ a day for 39 years.

adultchatpay 05-21-2011 08:12 AM

That's a lot, i wish they were 25,000 girls.

marlboroack 05-21-2011 08:26 AM

I hate Mcdonalds so fucking much, Burgerking FTW. He looks kind of like a stoner hippy, you can do it also when your high everyday for 39 years. McMunchies :thumbsup

HomerSimpson 05-21-2011 09:39 AM

knowing that I will be eating same shit every day would probably be more dangerous to me than the food I would be eating. I like to eat different things and every try day I eat at different place/restaurant and different food ....

That is a lot of fast food. I like In-N-Out, but I have only eaten perhaps 400 of them in my life time.

LA Crew 05-22-2011 09:15 AM

Don retired because of this collective bargaining nonsense, years after he actually could have.

bns666 05-22-2011 09:22 AM

i eat at mcd sometimes too, usually 1-2 cheeseburgers or big mac with cola.

it's not that unhealthy from time to time if you excercise and normally eat healthy etc.

but being proud of eating at mcd everyday is something i would be more ashamed of.
