Are you guys as impatient as I am?

Its seems my mind does not like to sit still. I am constantly looking for the next thing, the next angle, etc etc... When something does work, or pays off, I want more. I want it faster, now, not next year... etc etc

Makes it hard to focus sometimes and it also makes me really focus other times...

Its always been the thorn in my side... I generally need to see results now not a year from now.

How do you guys deal with this?

adultzone 05-18-2011 08:45 AM

Yes I cant wait several hours or so if it can be possible with in minutes.

I hear you... Another example... I never enjoyed building endless free sites that took centuries to rank and get traffic. I'd agonize over them waiting if I tried. So I built traffic trading sites and got instant results.

I can't read all that!

I am VERY impatient. I want things now, not having to wait until tomorrow to get it.

This goes for business as well. I try to think of ideas that I can make money off now, not in 3 months

:thumbsup

I agree. Sometimes I think its a major fault though... Cause when we do find that instant gratification it never lasts. Maybe if we were able to control our impulses we would be able to build long term money makers and relax more. But would we be happy? LOL

It depends...

Shut up and get to the point!

heh, nah I can wait a while usually. To a point.

Its seems my stomach does not like to sit still. I am constantly looking for the next twinkie, the next oreo, etc etc... When I run out of twinkies, or cheetos, I want more. I want it faster, now, not next day... etc etc

Translation.

Postpone short-term satisfaction for long-term success.

I am actually quite patient. I feel all good things come to those that wait:)

Basically "America is the country that cocaine wasn't good enough for so we invented crack. We need everything BIGGER, BETTER, FASTER."

Jakez 05-18-2011 02:18 PM

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Hopefully one day I can have a team of people to toss my ideas to that can focus on putting them into existence. I can never follow through with very many things before I think of something else that I think is "better" or more worth my time.

adultchatpay 05-18-2011 10:48 PM

i started to loose my patience since I've been Mallicked.

buildingfutures 05-19-2011 06:36 AM

It makes no sense being this impatient if you're a serious business man. How many of your successes came to you within the ridiculous timeframe you give yourself?

Don't get me wrong, when you have an idea or want to do something, DO IT, but chill out and let the seeds grow into plants steadily. Earning money way too fast is only going to cause you to spend it way too fast on junk you don't need.

:thumbsup

Everything good in my life came with time. Nothing was fast that lasted.

Great things are hard, that's why they are great. If they were easy, everyone would have it.

CaptainHowdy 05-19-2011 06:55 AM

I'm a patient hence I'm a man ...
