ffmpeg question
 

Guys do you know if i can convert m2t video to Avi or WMV using ffmpeg? My coder said it in not possible. any ones does it? let me know

Your coder doesn't know what he is talking about.

Sounds like you need a new coder. I've used ffmpeg to encode m2t from my camcorder to mpeg. There were some ffmpeg versions that didn't deal with 16:9 very well.

mencoder works really well too if you can't get ffmpeg to work

ffmpeg -i video.m2t newvideo.avi

would probably need to tweak the settings a bit.
