TALS v2 Out Now - Track your traffic

If you have ever signed up to an affiliate program, worked your ass off and added all their links and a few months later they close their program. Then TALS is a perfect script for you.

TALS -Track Adult Linking System.

TALS is a small script that allows webmasters to track outbound links to sponsors or other links in their network. It track the number of clicks per day, month and year with graphs. This is 100% admin controled script. No front end files to edit.

TALS also allows you to quickly change the exit website url if a program closes or you just want to redirect that traffic until the websites can be fixed. Very handy if you have hundreds of websites to edit, 1 click and it's changed.

All files in v2 can be edited. Webmasters can add extra functions and code as their whim, even the admin area.

TALS creates urls that are generally friendly to search engine such as google, yahoo.

Normally a link like this:
http://www.amakings.com/track/MTM1NTo0OjU/

Will become this
http://www.domain.com/site/AMAKings/

TALS v1 was a free script but it was limited because it was encoded and you couldn't add any custom features.
TALS v2 is NOT encoded so webmasters can change and edit the code as they like.
I've also made some small changes in the way it updates the links stats.

Price: $20
- Unlimited domains/Unlimited License
- NO reseller license

I once used live demos, but people tend to fuck them up.

What's your question?

ok man i understand, anyway i need to know if i can use multiple domains, if i can use same links to multiple domains, how i can see referer, if i can alternate link for each domain or blogpost and more ... need to have control over all my domains and to see referal clicks to sponsors, looking for script like that ...

pornguy 05-17-2011 04:32 AM

going to take a look at it right now..

Got a reseller program?

TeenCat 05-17-2011 04:34 AM

and also, do i need to install copy on every domain, or do i have one domain where do i see all my domains, and how it create links on other domains? i am sorry i really need a product but my english is bad to describe it, need to see it :)

Zorgman 05-17-2011 04:34 AM

You can setup TALS admin on 1 domain and just place the log.php file in the domains you want. So for an example.

Admin: www.domain1.com/admin/
This would run your TALS control panel.

Site A: www.domain2.com/visit/GFY/
Site B: www.domain3.com/go/GFY/

You can use unlimited domains like this with the .htaccess file and it will log it all in 1 control panel.

Here is an example; This is my Android apps site and the control panel is on another domain. But it doesn't show it anywhere in the link.

No, no reseller program. It's way too small for that.

pornguy 05-17-2011 04:41 AM

If you have the docs on how you run the system can I get a copy of them. would like to read them over.

kane 05-17-2011 04:47 AM

Buying it today. Looks great. I used the older version and loved it, looking forward to seeing what is new.

Zorgman 05-17-2011 04:51 AM

Kane, not much in terms of NEW features except the layout.
Just the fact you can edit the code and make your own changes as needed.

Pornguy, no docs. It's a really small script and only 2 options in the config file to edit.

Markul 05-17-2011 04:56 AM

So can I install this on X wordpress sites and get a list of all outgoing links and bulk edit them?

TeenCat 05-17-2011 05:01 AM

got it thank you will be checking later this week :)

Zorgman 05-17-2011 05:02 AM

Markul, TALS gives the option to export linking codes
Example; http://www.domain.com/site/AMAKings/

If you want to use that on X amount of other domains it's best you just use this as the linking code.

/site/AMAKings/

It will log the url of the click in the TALS logs.

There is also different export formats;

{name} : Name of link in full : Example: Adult Porn Reviews
{urla} : Linking code #1: http://www.porn-access.com/visit/$full/
{urlb} : Linking code #2: http://www.porn-access.com/go/$code/
{urlc} : Linking code #3: http://www.porn-access.com/link/$linkid/
{urld} : Linking code #4: http://www.porn-access.com/site/$full/
{linkurl} : The linking code to go to the real website
{full} : The full name of the link with spaces replaced. Example: AdultPornReivew
{description} : The description of the link.
{sponsor} : The sponsors name
{surl} : The sponsors url in full
{code} : The code ID given to the link. This is only used in {urlb} linking code.
{date} : The date which you added the link.

Klen 05-17-2011 05:07 AM

Same functionally can be done by simple reg write in htaccess plus trade script for tracking clicks.

TeenCat 05-17-2011 05:28 AM

cool man, but now i dont get it ... i made my first link, i have my admin on domain1.com/admin/ , now i have some free site on domain2.com and i have there few classic affiliate links with ref code and so. now, what do i have to do on domain2.com, to have links like domain1.com/sitelink/ and how i get it working in the stats? also, what .htaccess do i have to setup on my server? how can my hosting know how do that htaccess looks like? is it ok here or by email? i hope no more time will be needed, just get it working once and all is ok ... :)

Zorgman 05-17-2011 05:36 AM

I will email you.

pornguy 05-17-2011 05:42 AM

Zorg.. can you give me an email I want to ask you a question about this.

Thanks.. ICQ me or mail me sales at amateurdough.com

Zorgman 05-17-2011 05:53 AM

So if I had a list of say 200 links I wanted to rewrite/point to something else, this software can do that?

Zorgman 05-17-2011 06:16 AM

Each link in the database would need to be edited, in your example 200 links.

You can see in this image below, I can edit all my links in bulk.
http://www.bigdotmedia.com/talsv2/screenshot4.jpg

pornguy 05-17-2011 06:17 AM

Thanks getting that now.

Markul 05-17-2011 06:28 AM

Zorgman can you hit me up on ICQ? Or maybe I should just go and buy it haha it's not like it's costly

Markul 05-17-2011 07:23 AM

Ok I'm apparently an idiot, how do I buy this again? O.o

Ah thanks mate! :thumbsup

over38 05-17-2011 10:28 AM

Hi Zorgman,

I am using the older free version, how difficult is it to upgrade to the paid version ?

Thank You

Markul 05-17-2011 10:29 AM

Hmm are the purchases processed manually? My account has no active licenses.

uno 05-17-2011 11:46 AM

Can categories be added?

ex.
http://www.domain.com/go/eyeball-licking/cornea-freaks (hypothetical, i don't think this actually exists)

Zorgman 05-17-2011 04:59 PM

Markul, sorry for the delay. I was a sleep when you purchased. Check your email :)

uno, not as default but im sure you could just by adding a field and editing the htaccess file. Need more info.

Update from Free to paid is just over writing the files, unless you have made changes to your log.php file - if so, email me first.

Yes, that's correct. You need to register at www.bigdotmedia.com to see the BUY buttons. :D

marlboroack 05-17-2011 05:34 PM

Now that has never fuckin' happened to me. Seems legit indeed, but it's something i wouldn't invest in right now. :)

Zorgman 05-17-2011 06:18 PM

marlboroack, TALS v2 isn't going to suit everyone.
However there is around 4,500 webmasters (adult and mainstream) using TALS v1 so I think a few will update. :)

Turboface 05-17-2011 06:20 PM

Cool script!

:thumbsup

Zorgman 05-17-2011 07:56 PM

Thanks Turbo. :D

Markul 05-18-2011 12:29 AM

No problem Zorgman, got the mail. Thanks! :thumbsup

Markul 05-18-2011 01:33 AM

Hmm when I add links via Import Links function, they end up w.o. a name, even though I use the format:
name|url

is this a known bug or?

Seth Manson 05-18-2011 02:29 AM

Can I use this on all of my domains across several servers, with just 1 installation? Or will I need to install one per server for the domains on that server.

Zorgman 05-18-2011 02:34 AM

Markul, yes, you found a bug. Fixing it now. It's currently only taking the URL for each line.

Seth, Im not sure about multiple servers using 1 database. But you can install TALS unlimited times.

Markul 05-18-2011 02:39 AM

Zorgman, how much work would it be to expand the script to actually include a rewrite function on URL basis? I'd love to take link http://www.something and point it to http://www.somethingelse

ask your host to do a symlink between domains; folders, it's free.

Zorgman 05-18-2011 03:27 AM

I don't know mod rewrite enough to know how that would work, if at all. Maybe someone else with htaccess experience could help you out there.

It's not necessarily internal links, but maybe I need to go and lookup symlink. Thanks for the pointer :)

Zorgman 05-18-2011 04:41 PM

Bump for anyone that missed it.
