explorer 9...

Microsoft tried to polish a big turd with the 9th version of explorer... this browser does an awful job with my main website... the result is really shitty. Do you have the same problem?

IE always sucked.
I would never install any IE on my computer as an internet browser, so I never did :)

I have used IE 9 if I am downloading something and used for browsing since I am not comfortable again I switch back to Mozilla and I missed this browser a lot. :)

Several software scripts are updating software cause it doesn't work on Explorer 9.....

And it is simpel why people use Explorer. You are stupid if you don't cause 80% of your costumers use Explorer to watch your site. So a lot of people must check if their site is still working well in IE 9.

I couldn't handle the blurry text with IE9. Uninstalled it.

I notice when IE8 gets really slow (fairly quickly), FF stll loads no prob. Even when both were used equally prior.

Plus with the security concerns, and now with IE9 even more bloaty, I finally set FF as default. :thumbsup

From that page: "W3Schools is a website for people with an interest for web technologies. These people are more interested in using alternative browsers than the average user. The average user tends to the browser that comes preinstalled with their computer, and do not seek out other browser alternatives.

These facts indicate that the browser figures above are not 100% realistic. Other web sites have statistics showing that Internet Explorer is a more popular browser.

Anyway, our data, collected from W3Schools' log-files, over a five year period, clearly shows the long and medium-term trends."

The rendering engine is still fucked up in IE9. Its gonna be another 20 years till Microsoft figure out how build an "internet browser" flawlessly.
