Anyone use the Zombaio App for Android (or BB, iPhone, Win)?
 

Just curious if anyone else uses these? They have an app for every major smartphone platform to check your stats. As with many Android apps, the permissions one must allow are very broad, maybe overly broad.

Storage: Modify & delete SD card contents
Network comunication: Full Internet Access
Phone Calls: Read phone state & identity

Think it's safe to install?

I use it. No issues.

And those are three pretty basic requirements that most apps need to install.

Storage: probably because you can now load apps to SD
Network: obviously it needs to connect to the internet
Phone Calls: it needs to know if the phone rings so that it can allow you to switch from app to phone call

it wants to save stuff
how else will it look stuff up?
phone state and phone identity aren't separated out. It could just need to know to get out of the way if you receive a call rather than wanting to harvest your number and imei etc.

those seem like pretty minimal permissions


the apps that want your contact lists are the ones I wonder about, and there are many that ask for that out there
