Well done Russia. You defeated Hitler in World War II and showed the world how a true army wins a war. These guys fought sweat blood and tears and pushed ahead with determination and a will to fight unlike anything the world had ever seen.

And with that they defended their homeland and pushed on to defeat Hitler. True courage, honor and perseverance led to an honorable victory against a tough enemy.

What a contrast to the Americans, who won their war with Japan through terrorism and the intentional murder of civilians.

Well done Russia!

If the USSR had the choice between a bomb and losing 26 million of its own people, I wonder which it would have chosen?

So much anger.

US chose to use nukes on Japan to a) intimidate USSR and start cold war b) because the famous calculations that it will save millions of lives was done by the same people who calculated that Saddam had WMDs. Now stop bitching about it and let's celebrate!

I agree that the Russians played a HUGE role in defeat of hitler
