this tech was used as main fuel source for cooking/lighting in 80's in india. pretty old for me.

but doesnt the gas smell like farts

like its cool and all but i dont want to smell a giant horse fart every time i want to eat something

Wonder if the device for preventing flashback (running the gas through water) acts as a filter too, like after 2 months it's all dark and stinks like hell?
