I looked through my programs to see if there are any I dont reconise that could be causing this. I found 4 that I dont know what they are used for.

Here they are:

cleaner 5 EZ

DownloadWare

Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.0_01

Java Web Start

Launcher

Does anyone know what these do?

Thx

6. Attached files.
This Product contains and will install technology that enables third party companies, sponsors', advertisers or Downloadware to deliver additional products or software applications to the End-Users' system. This additional software may have separate terms and conditions associated with it and should be read separately.

That is from the DownloadWare website. I'm going to guess that they are the source of your problem. Try installing Adaware (LavasoftUSA). That should fix it.
