    I thought racial slurs were against the rules?



    Really, if using any variation of the "n word" will get you banned on GFY, how about banning people who use disparaging terms for other races as well? If I had an avatar of a gorilla that said "brassni****" I would get banned.

    Since AJC got banned for the same thing banning brassmonkey only seems fair.

                                          sometimes a monkey is just a monkey, that is why I think it is stretching the intent of that rule. If you point out that said great ape is wearing a hat and headphones, there are DJs of every race and I can remember monkies that were dressed up in tuxedos and various costumes in the past. IMO (and thats all it is), that rule is intended for much more overt and mean spirited racial epitaphs

The others are far more offensive because they are associated with hate and hate crimes that are no longer tolerated.
