    Question about Google AdWords

    Newb alert.

Let's say that I run a local car dealership and want to run targeted ads for Ford, Chrysler, and Chevrolet. I have three separate ads, one for each company.

I then have a list of 100 different keyword combinations utilizing Ford, Chrysler, and Chevrolet separately.

How do I link the Ford keywords with the Ford ad? Etc.

It seems like it would be simple to do but I can't quite figure it out.

Did you go true "make ad, add kws" process there?

Create campaing > create ad > add kws > tweak it up

I'm not really sure, my "rep" set everything up. I deleted his ads and added my own, should I just start from scratch with the keywords?

the keywords are added per ad group, not per ad
so you have to split each brand under different campaign

            ugh sorry
messed it all up, meant to say different ad group

Make sure you set your 'Networks' to target right or by default your ads will show up everywhere - search, google partners, adsense...

You can add a keyword tag into your ad.
              Example:

              1. If surfers type "ford dealer" it would show Best Ford Dealer Evah!
              2. If surfers type "lexus dealer" that very same ad would show as Best Lexus Dealer Ever.
