I would take the trip because the ticket is free. The moon has less gravity than earth. This means people can jump up higher and spend more time in the air.

Yeah the US really squandered the public interest in space travel by cancelling Apollo and the missions destined to come after it. Since then humans haven't left low earth orbit, heck even the space station is only a couple of hundred miles from earth.

Spin out in low G orbiting hotel a few nights.

Shuttle to Orbiting Moon Hotel (1 week or less)

Spin out in Moon Hotel 1 night

Orbiting Moon Hotel to Moon Base (1 hour or so trip down)

Moon Base - visit all the moon lookouts - moon buggy rides - 1/6th G Moon disco etc.

Go back same way.

Any failures at any point - good chance of backup plan!

A moon trip with todays tech is pretty risky, like rolling 2 6s on a dice and you're dead risky.
