Thank you Google Panda!

Search engine traffic has increased 140% since the Google Panda update! Its about time Google rewards 100% original content not fucking scraped sites, link farms and shitty autoblogs! Conversions are through the roof, SE traffic still converts quality sites that protect their content.

Time for a beer!

AzteK 04-23-2011 01:20 PM

I hate you

newB 04-23-2011 02:05 PM

I've seen an increase in sales as well but didn't want to cheese people off by bringing it up.

Did you notice this major increase after the first Panda update, or the more recent supposedly international one around April 12th?

icymelon 04-23-2011 03:52 PM

redwhiteandblue 04-23-2011 04:01 PM

Panda can suck my cock.

Jayvis 04-23-2011 04:06 PM

Did any of you see a huge decrease and then a rise back to normal and then a rise to above normal?

wehateporn 04-23-2011 04:09 PM

If someone has spent their time creating original content then they deserve extra SE traffic, fair play! It's the way it should be

On the first day I almost dropped to zero, then after it went up higher than before

loreen 04-24-2011 12:45 AM

Neither my autoblogs nor my hand written blogs felt any effect from Panda. WTF?

marlboroack 04-24-2011 01:14 AM

You are Welcome

halfpint 04-24-2011 01:29 AM

LOL i had the same on my teen blog My traffic has doubled woo hoo

cooldude7 04-24-2011 01:34 AM

my traffic also increased but not sales .. :(

dazzling 04-24-2011 02:40 AM

Congrats on your increase, nice to hear, but it has NOTHING to do with original content, There are plenty of high quality websites with great original content getting slaughtered. Take for example the British Medical Journal, the highest Authority website of its kind, the highest quality original content, yet it got slaughtered. The pattern is the same all over the net, no logic to anything with Google now. My best website went down, but everything else, including bullshit link farms went up. A friend of mine had a 300% increase from panda for a week and was singing Googles praise and slagging everyone else off who complained about Google...then wham....he lost his 300% increase as well as all his other google traffic. Now his traffic from google is ZERO.

iSpyCams 04-24-2011 04:39 AM

My site has all original content, over 1,000 pages indexed in google and 11,000 backlinks and was slaughtered. Less than 10 hits a day, according to google webmaster tools. I am waiting a few more weeks to see what happens but I think I may have to make some major changes. I can and am doing better than that with parked domains.

ok, so where are are your 11,000 backlinks coming from:)

TeenCat 04-24-2011 04:55 AM

good for you, but it is more about luck, i have sites with original content done on my working scheme and two sites from three are up, one is totally down, nobody knows why, no reason, just google is the reason ... so enjoy and hope it will stay long :thumbsup

iamtam 04-24-2011 04:57 AM

panda is pander, pandering to tubes and other freetard sites.

iSpyCams 04-24-2011 05:01 AM

A lot of different places, the hardlink buys were managed by an SEO consultant who supposedly has a great reputation on this board.

They are not from Scrapebox or xrumor if that is what you suspect.

Edit: this is a reply to BJ, btw.

Jack Sparrow 04-24-2011 05:13 AM

If you think this is about unique content you are probably not writing any.

Klen 04-24-2011 05:22 AM

I find it highly irritating to give so much advantage to tube sites

Horny Joe 04-24-2011 05:38 AM

I see a slight increase in traffic on blogs, but it is only 5-10%. But, I am glad it goes up and not down :)

seeandsee 04-24-2011 05:50 AM

g0*gle change rules and fuck people, fuck you Panda :D

xxxbusiness 04-24-2011 06:03 AM

auto blogs still working great, nothing to do with panda if you know what and how you do that. handwritten content can be also moved fast to scraped, if you're not handling it carefully

~Ray 04-24-2011 06:08 AM

any loss can be recovered quickly these days. No more waiting until the next update to see where you rank. :)

this past week - yes. Google undid some of the shit they did with panda that hurt non-content farming sites.

Grisey 04-24-2011 06:15 AM

Nothing happened much to my adult stuff but my main stream certainly had a nice increase in sales

I agree, changes daily slightly

camperjohn64 04-24-2011 06:47 AM

I used to create original content and scraper sites would beat me out every time.

Now I have scraper sites and they are doing much much better than original content.

Rick Diculous 04-24-2011 07:20 AM

Traffic is the same, but sales went way down for a week and went back up

Tube Sites:
1. Typically have a TON of content.
2. Are what people are ACTIVELY searching for.
3. Are often, if not hourly, UPDATED which also factors into the algo.

Whether you love them, or hate them, it really comes down to the SE doing it's job. It is rewarding those sites that surfers want, and seek out that are content rich. Which sadly (for those who do not own them) is tube sites and social networks.

Adapt, or don the paper hat.
:2 cents:

TeenSluts 04-24-2011 07:28 AM

Im seeing well aged sites with unique content getting 35-50% less traffic. Going to put up fresh content and pray.

redwhiteandblue 04-24-2011 07:30 AM

Last year I started a couple of legal tube sites, a couple months apart. The first one I worked on steadily, built backlinks steadily, and it was steadily gaining. All original text, titles and descriptions. The other I just put up and left it to rot. In fact at some point I changed the focus of it which meant a lot of the category pages are now empty, or duplicates of others. I couldn't be bothered to fix it because it never makes any sales. The first, on the other hand, has unique pages and about 4 or 5 times as much content.

After Panda, the first lost most of its traffic but the second got more, and now has more than the first. How the fuck does that make any sense?

nico-t 04-24-2011 07:45 AM

dont know if its google panda but a couple of my 'splogs' dropped like a fucking rock in the last 2 weeks... dont like it one bit... 1 seems to come up slowly again though... but it always takes so fucking long to recover.

It doesn't change the fact how it's irritating.

John-ACWM 04-26-2011 11:17 AM

Congrats for the better conversion!

k0nr4d 04-26-2011 11:37 AM

mechbunny.com stayed where it was, all my other sites went up about 20% then dropped 80%. Now i get fuck all google traffic. I don't even care anymore, google appears to be completely random at this point.
